I run a licensed home daycare in Centretown, Ottawa. I first opened in 2013. The daycare is not part of the ​CWELCC program at the moment. My home is a detached single-home dwelling.

I take my daycare children to local playgroups, parks in the neighbourhood, the NAC toddler time, and the ​Nature Museum. As such, we engage in outdoor activities every day, weather permitting.

Daycare hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The daycare closes for a portion of ​the summer.

I feed the children homemade healthy food that I make from scratch. The children drink water and plant-​based milk.

I provide a daily log, which includes photos every day.

We celebrate diversity at our daycare. The daycare runs in English and Japanese. In essence, the daycare ​kids are exposed daily to Japanese culture, including language, food, and cultural activities.

I have completed first aid and level C CPR courses, as well as a food handler certificate.
